Are you eager to begin your career as a Hairstylist? Explore your passion with PREP-Trade of Hairstylist, a collaboration between OPHA, Wella and MyWomenSupport, offering immersive learning and career transformation.

• Experiential Learning-Live instructional workshops and demos at Wella Studio-Toronto and Academy 2121-Ottawa

• Virtual Information Sessions-How to start your journey or how to continue your passion by OPHA and My Women Support

• Networking-Meet the people who want to talk and share about Trade of Hairstylist

• Mentoring-Learn from the experienced professionals in the Trade of Hairstylist exploring career options in the trade

All Participants will receive

• A Mannequin head to practice

• Basic Hairstylist theory to reinforce hands on Learning with WELLA

• Monthly hands on training by WELLA instructor at Wella Studio Toronto

• Networking with potential employers

• Virtual classes in topics such as career paths

• Soft skills/how to work with Canva

• Selfcare and Mental Health for Professionals

• How to promote one's self, picture and creation of Portfolio and Bio

• Pathway to Apprenticeship
